Bought Iron maiden cos the cover was freaking cool, and Genesis cos I'm a big fan !!

First cd i ever bought (well picked out and my parents bought it for me) was Genesis: Live - The way we walk Part I because... i liked genesis and didn't realize it wasn't a good pick from their catalog, though i guess for a 7 year old it wasn't a bad pick, though i wish my parents would have told me "it's not peter gabriel genesis" not that i fully would have gotten that, but, i had listened to their LPs of Selling England by the Pound and Nursery Cryme so thought that was what genesis sounded like.. apart from knowing "I can't Dance" from the radio at that point.

First Cd was by Bon Jovi - Crossroads.
Think in those days I liked the sound of glitter rock :-)
