My mom bought me a Curtis Mathis home stereo system and it had a CD player included. I had heard about them but never had one before. I went to the "record store" and they had a handful of CD's and I got the one from Kraftwerk. I remember taking it to school showing it to everyone. (this was back in the early 80's)
