'The Last Song' Author Nicholas Sparks Congratulates Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's fairytale love story started, fittingly, in 2009 on set of the film adaptation of the romance novel, The Last Song. Now, the book's author, Nicholas Sparks, is congratulating the couple on their marriage.

After Cyrus posted a series of photos on social media Wednesday (Dec. 26) confirming that she tied the knot with Hemsworth, Sparks replied on Twitter, “This makes me so happy. Congratulations @MileyCyrus and @liamHemsworth. #TheLastSong.” The songstress responded with three heart emojis.
