Go behind-the-scenes on Enter Shikari’s ‘The Spark’ in new documentary ‘Content 2.0’

The film follows the band during the making of their latest album 'The Spark'

Enter Shikari have released a new documentary, titled Content 2.0.

The film gives fans an insight into the making of their latest album, ‘The Spark‘, which celebrated its one-year anniversary last month (September 22). In a four-star review, NME said of the record: “This is Rou [Reynolds]’ tempestuous tribute to a world on fire.”

Content 2.0 was directed by photographer Tom Pullen and sees the band in all stages of the record-making process, from demoing the album’s tracks to laying down final versions in the studio and then taking the songs out to fans on tour and at festivals. Watch Content 2.0 below.

Earlier this year, Enter Shikari announced a new tour, which will begin in December and continue through February. The band will be supported by Milk Teeth on the December dates.

In April, the band delivered a powerful state-of-the-nation address in the form of the video for their single ‘Take My Country Back’.

“Unfortunately the sentiment of this track still stands, more than 12 months after I wrote it,” singer Rou Reynolds said in a press release at the time.

“If anything, the atmosphere is worse than it was then. An increasingly hostile right-wing media acting as a megaphone for what we now know were exaggerations and outright lies, amplified by fake bot accounts on Twitter, reinforcing the prejudices of the ill-informed. It’s got a big chorus, though.”
