@BRANDEDTOKILL hey nice post. i would like to add a few movie osts here
Purple Rain - the movie isn't bad, but also not the best, still considered to be a classic, the soundtrack is great :-)
The Thief - featuring the music of my fouvirite tangerine dream album. The film isn't bad but i was more surprised by the soundtrack.
Interstella 5555 - this is an anime movie only with the music from the first daft punk album, no text for charakters or any other sounds, still has a story :-)
Django unchained - just a great ost as i think, as well as much other tarentino osts.
The Wall - a great movie with the music from Pink Floyd's legendary The Wall Album, i like the movie more then the music :-), still a great album.
Heavy Metal - as the name says with lots of metal, the movie is from 1980 i think - so its more rock/hard rock then metal.
The movie itself consists of a few smaller stories, its anime/cartoon - there is also a south park episode based on this movie.
i can't remember more movies right now, but there should be more just have to remind them :-) I will add something when possible.
The Last of the Mohicians - Mindblowing Soundtrack
Gladiator: Now We Are Free - Hans Zimmer & Lisa Gerrard
Inception: Time - Hans Zimmer
The Beach: Porcelain - Moby
Interstellar: Where we're going - Hans Zimmer
These just fit perfectly into the movies. Amazing
As an afterthought would like to add soundtrack for the Hindi Film Sholay, especially the background score
Gladiator: Hans Zimmer, Lisa Gerrard
@YusukeUramesh - nice adds you made there - while can't remember that much from chocolate :) guess you might want to take an ear on the ones i mentioned.
and @All - some of Hans Zimmer music is really good - thanks for mentioning them here.Quote:
The Thief
Interstella 5555
Django unchained
The Wall
Heavy Metal
never mind
Es si tu - French song - movie i don't know - Actor --- Alen Delon !
The Soundtrack to Memento has always been my favorite. The music that David Julyan creates is just so dark and fits so perfect with the overall dark nature of the movie. It just adds to the overall experience.
The Dark Knight's soundtracks
