We are testing a variety of hardware and software configurations during this month, and probably next month as well.
First up is some low end 100Mbps seedboxes, but we also intend to test drive some 1Gbps and probably 10Gbps configurations as well.
Unlike usually with the free seedbox - these are likely going to be fully featured, meaning you have SSH etc. but in those cases we will be more prudent on choosing who gets one -> has to have real contact details and not a fake account. Still random otherwise.
Some of the experimentals will have A LOT of users, some will have only a few.
Range of test setups are for example:
* rTorrent 10Mbps limited 85G seedbox
* 100Mbps unlimited, unmetered 85G seedbox
* 100Mbps unlimited, unmetered 170G seedbox
* 1Gbps special arranged storage 100G to 500G seedbox
* Some new locations
* Software configuration changes for the lower end
It is also possible some of these will feature transmission instead of rTorrent as usual.
