Noob conversation about an advanced Seedbox setup
I have been doing a lot of research into seedboxes lately and, as you all know, the internet is fraught with outdated/misguided information. But I have drawn up what I think could be an ideal situation for me. Is it possible to rent a Plex capable seedbox, set it up as a Plex server, then have the Plex server be backed up by Google Drive or OneDrive?
In this scenario I would have a business account on Google/OneDrive with unlimited storage which would hold my Media Library. (All legitimate backups of my physical collection of course.) The media library could be encrypted to keep my embarrassing taste in movies private. Then I could stream, via Plex, my library to all my devices. Google/OneDrive -> seedbox -> device.
My seedbox/plex server would handle all torrenting, and transcoding aspects. My Google/OneDrive would back up my media library, make it accessible at any hour, and have unlimited storage to boot. And my home network would hold my media library as well but would essentially be on easy street in terms of networking load, correct or no?
I am definitely open to hearing any sort of technical advice and/or potential pitfalls that might help in making this dream a reality.
Thanks for your help folks!
