How to send a file to friend from my seedbox?

Hi guys

Can anyone help me. Is there a way to send file to a friend from my seedbox but via torrent, i dont want to use http downloading because on my seedbox http downloading is extremelly slow, but on torrent i have 1Tb connection.

I was thinking to do that the same way like i am posting torrent anywhere on some torrent sharing site but i need a tracker who will allow me to post that file privately and i cant found any.

Thanx for any help.

p.s. my seedbox is really cheap and basic so dont suggest me to download any plugin or so because thats not gonna work here.

Create a new torrent with the files that you want to share then add ( udp://tracker.coppersurfer.tk:6969/announce ) as your tracker but mark your torrent as private and then send the .torrent file/magnet URI to your friend via email or whatever.

Remember, don't share the torrent with anyone else.

p.s. tracker cant slow down max internet connection (speed) of my seedbox?

Now i have tryed it and that works perfect first 30sec, i got great transfer rate - then suddenly it stops (on seedbox) with status "finished". Why is that? Why cant continue to seeding that file?

i didnt have problem like that with any other tracker from "normal" torrent sites, torrent is seeding all the time untill i click "stop".

You're welcome.

No, trackers have no effect on speed whatsoever. Their job is to announce peers, that's it.

I assume you're using rutorrent, is that correct?

Right click on the torrent's name then > Set ratio group > Choose 'no ratio', then try seeding it again.

Sure, there are plenty. You could also add your friend's IP address directly from within your bittorrent client.
