Windows 10 Now Available for Pre-Order at a Discount

Windows 10 will indeed be free for those running Windows 7 or 8.1 on their computers, but for everyone else, the operating system will be available with a price tag of $119.99 for the Home version and $199.99 for the Pro package in the United States.

Some retailers are now taking pre-orders for Windows 10, so in case you already want to purchase the new operating system, you can do it today and also benefit from a small discount.

Newegg is one of the first retailers to offer us Windows 10, and what’s more, the Home version costs only $89.99, while Pro version can be yours for $129.99, as @winObs discovered today.

This discount is only available for a limited time, so you need to hurry up if you really want to take advantage of the offer and purchase Windows 10 at a lower price.

Note that Newegg requires you to enter a promo code for every purchase you make in order to cut down the price of Windows 10, and below are the codes for both Windows 10 Home and Pro:

In the rest of the world, Windows 10 will be available at the same prices as Windows 8, which could vary by country depending on taxes.
