What player do you use to watch movies through?

VLC :p and only VLC

VLC all the time for MKV

plex for everything

Mpv (with lots of scripts) , previously kmp

PotPlayer always

Used to use mpc, but had a few issue...then switched to vlc

VLC and on a rare occasion a film will have a codec that renders better in PotPlayer

a couple years ago when the Combined Community Codec Pack website was up, I downloaded and stored it's latest file. Whenever I format a pc I just run it and it brings every pack I need + Media player clasic which works like a charm with absolutely everything and it's extremely light and simple. Love it. (I can share the original file if anyone needs it)

same here. plex is love, plex is life. it's not necessarily the best player in all regards, but it sure is a convenient one for my million-device world.

mpv is good. IIRC, its better than mplayer for some reason.
