    Port forwarding isnt working

    I tried now since 2 hours how i can port forward correctly with my router but i dont know why it isnt working i tried so many different times and still allways getting no port is open. I have a speedport smart 3 router from telekom. Pls help me i dont know what i should do now.

    check your ip from modem web interface and than check your ip serching "what is my ip adress" from google. if those 2 ip is different means you are in a situation called Carrier-grade NAT (CGN or CGNAT) which means as long as you are in cgn you cant open port.

    thx for reply i fixed it now it was the port settings in the router cause i tried to open tcp and udp port at the same time which isnt working i dont know why but its at the moment so i am fine.
