However, the repressive approach, in which the software is removed from the digital store under a contrived pretense of referring to the company's policy, in no way contributes to attracting new developers to work with Microsoft and popularize the Windows Store (renamed the Microsoft Store in September 2017).

A meager assortment of software in the Windows Store is the reason why the digital store built into the operating system is not popular and looks like an unpromising method of software distribution. But even in this situation, Redmond people tighten the rules for getting / staying in the Microsoft Store, and when they detect the "intruder", he immediately deprives him of his place in the digital store.

If the decision to limit (close) the access of users of Windows 10S to Google Chrome browser somehow could be justified by trying to instill the love of users to Edge, then removing the application DrWindows and WindowsArea.de looks rather strange. These programs were on the improvised black list because of their name, which mentions the word "Windows". However, the curiosity of the situation is different: both applications are deserved veterans of the Windows Store - they have been there for several years in a row. One of them is even located in a digital store since 2012.
