How do you play HD-movies?

I have K-Lite codecs, But use Kodi as my streamer/ player (All codecs built in).

Vlc media on my projector.
And for tomorrow a Star Wars movie night is planned :3

I started with mpc-ch with madvr too many digital sparkles , then moved to kodi that was far to buggy kept crashing , then to jriver with redoctober , settled with that for now , for movie night on the pj , its the sony s7200 all the way :)

I only use VLC. I can't stand any other video player.

I always play my HD movies from the Popcorn A400 connected to my TV

If playing from computer I use VLC, streaming from A400, but I increased the buffer

K-Lite codec pack + MPC

Klite Mega with MPC-HC. VLC when it's needed.

I use MPC-BE with MadVR as renderer.
