How do you play HD-movies?

I generally use Klite Codec Pack but if something went wrong with it I use PotPlayer.

I think The KMplayer is Good

I'm on OS X and use mpv. Plays pretty much anything, lots of customizability, and has a very minimal interface.

Most of the time, its Potplayer and sometimes, its KMPlayer. Rarely K-lite.

Using cccp with madvr and LAV filters

I use the Kawai Codec Pack, its basically madvr+mpchc+lav filters. smooth motion works well for animation.
