Yep, currently in school to become a computer programmer. I know HTML, PHP, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Cobol (yes many banks still use it), and many more languages still to learn.

I code in AHK. Still learning it. I wanna learn c++, someday!
I program in AutoHotkey, CSS and HTML. I want to learn php and javascript.
No, hope to learn vba in the near future :)
I do a lot of Mac/iOS programming these days, so its pretty much Obj-C with a little bit of Swift I'm learning now. I also run some servers so I'm frequently writing shell scripts and little things in php and python.
basic c++ and bit of java -- really want to learn more or in depth knowledge
Developer currently working with C# (or as a headhunter called it one day "C Pound"...groan).
Have been programming for about 30 years. Started on a TI-99 4A back when I was a kid.
The thing I find about programming, for the most part, is that once you learn one language, it is pretty easy to pick up another.
The hardest part is getting over the initial learning curve and learning to think in a different way.

I am a Computer Engineering student and we are teaching programming in C++. I learn Python on my own and I am a Jr. Developer who uses Visual Basic and SQL. I am realizing the best way to learn programming is to learn the basics of a language then once you get that down, learn object-orientation. Once you learn OO, it is easier to pick up and language plus, understanding OO is bridge between being a noob and getting to a point where programming starts to click.
Went to school for business but taught myself to code. Couldn't really find a company willing to hire me without a CS degree, so I wrote my own software and just sold that for a few years. I find most high-level languages to be interchangeable, but I am fond of the C# and XAML process.
I use my own fluent libraries, so maybe my coding style is different than most. My code usually looks something like this:
When(condition.IsTrue).Do(Action).Until(condition. IsFalse);
I learned C++ when I was in college :)
Software engineer with 15 years experience here; over the years I used the following languages (some less than others):
- C
- C++
- Java
- Perl
- Oracle SQL
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Bash (Linux Script)
Mostly interested in DB related technologies nowadays.
Begginer at Oracle PL/SQL, Java, PHP, and Android, currently doing my grade project in PHP and Android
Java, PHP
i took c++, visual basic, html (if you call that a language anymore) java. C++ was the hardest, but did the most. i took it years ago and i cant remember any of it today. :(
I am more into hardware coding: assembly, vhdl and processing for my arduino projects.
I can code C and C++ a bit. Like I can do some basic programs. I want to learn Java and VB. I'm learning C++ in my college currently.
Ha ha. I used to program in "basic". my gosh, maybe 40 years ago? It seems like that. I used to program on radio shack tr1? with tape drive that would hold 4k of memory. I also did apple's form of basic that was similar. Peeks and pokes for you old timers. I did simple utility programs for my own use.
Now I know NOTHING.:hahaha:
Started with c++, ended up with c# in Unity3D engine, html, css, javascript, gonna start php and later who knows maybe java. It is impossible to be perfect at a programming language so experience says everything, maybe i need to decide soon what to use the most.
at school for programming.
c, c++, shell and batch.
I went for a programming course once but I failed miserably and since then I stick with what I can.
No, i dont program. I know the basics, but never developed any liking for the activity.
Yes... you could say i know some programming languages, mostly learned them because I needed them.
Started with website building at middle school with HTML4 + CSS + ASP3.0 + SQL/ADO/MS Access DB.... Built some sites for my younger brother's MOH:AA clans :)
Went on to learn C and C++ at my high school, finished the course with a neat little project of a working casino.... also took a VB6 at the same school and finished with a working program to replicate the incident report and management system of our electric company.
Built some Excel / Access VBA applications later on while at the army.
Debugged some PHP code while managing a forum.
Now I just use the Windows Command system and VBS to make my job easier whilst not having any real programming tools available.
My last big project was during work, where I created a VBS 500-1000 layer (randomized - security by obscurity) encryption tool for encrypting my work VBS files, which also allows me to add external files which are added to the encrypted VBS file as HEX code.
Currently contemplating going for an MCSD certificate.....
java
I would like to learn swift
Programmed in Turbo Pascal back in The Day...And Then a little in Java...:D
learning java + c++
started out as a javascript dev, added php and ruby to the mix while the w3c and the dom had to have an episode of intervention. have been using java and the processing.org framework/p5js a lot lately, hopefully soon will add the openframeworks /cpp stuff into that and am very interested in golang and rust and nodejs. Have spent a rather absurd amount of time researching and testing docker based seedboxes and getting my bash-fu up to snuff lately as well.
Once you learn one the others are pretty easy to pickup. Key is practice... can't stress that enough. And more than just homeworks, start a little side project for yourself
seems like there's a lot of programmers here :) am a programmer as well and like everyone says, once you know one language, you know them all.
No I don't. I would really like to learn to code. I have tried a lot of times, but it's like i'm not really getting the hang of it, and just keep sticking to tutorials without making the things I really want to make.
Really interested in learning
I studied C# in the faculty but didn't like it ever
Started in Fortran (yes i'm old), APL then MARK1 (dont ask), C, pascal, turbo pascal.
Currently C#
Only play with VBA and Powershell times to times .
Would love to learn other program language , what language do you think i should start with ?
I am self-taught in web design and the very basics of web development. This includes: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and beginner level PHP. Nothing compared to giants like C.
I like to learn Assembly or C++ but not in deep mode.
I strongly recommend that anyone try learning a little programming. I have a comp. sci. degree but have written absolutely zero code since graduating. However, the processes, techniques and mental models I assimilated as part of my studies have been invaluable in everything I've done since in my professional life.
I've even used the programming approach to write fiction, since creative writing and programming occupy kind of the same level of abstraction (at least for me). It lets me be incredibly productive - I've had a myriad of pieces published in short succession over the years, and I write new ones at a very rapid pace.
I program in c++, C#, very old html, some java, ruby (a long time ago), and that's pretty much it. I remember back when I was 6 my dad getting me hyped up for programming, then set me in front of a computer with visual studio and video tutorials and that was my summer. Ah, the memories. :proud:
I graduated with a comp sci degree. I know a little bit of many languages. I learn something new everyday and love it. There is always something new and exciting to learn or code.
I suggest anyone wanting to learn look at youtube. There are quite a few tutorials that are very good. Start with a language like Java or C++ and see if you like it.
