8. BitComet
http://0.tqn.com/d/netforbeginners/1...e_bitcomet.jpg
This free software is very good, but has lost a lot of users to uTorrent and Vuze/Azureus. If you are a serious downloader who has particular tastes in interfaces, definitely give BitComet a try. If you are a new user, start with uTorrent or Vuze first. Note that many private torrent sites will ban you for using BitComet, as there is a pervasive belief that BitComet reports incorrect ratio information, and also leaks data to DHT.

13.FrostWire
FrostWire is a P2P client which transfers any kind of file in very short time.
This program creates a virtual network avoiding the use of a central server that can collapse of fail anytime. Moreover, this allows the available content to be very vast.
FrostWire works with the Gnutella network and it is developed under the same protocol as LimeWare, this is why, if you have used these applications you will notice the similarities.
Although there are some similarities, there is a difference which is worth highlighting: LimeWare filters some contents which reduce the number of results making less efficient searches.
Due to the fact that FrostWire performs multiple downloads, you will save the hassle of waiting until a process is finished to start a new one.

13.FireTorren
The FireTorrent extension strives to offer the most user-friendly BitTorrent experience. We've integrated the torrents manager as a seperate tab in your browser's download manager, and torrents can be downloaded from any website with a single click.
This results in a great user experience and should be attractive to both people that are new to downloading torrents and advanced users.
The FireTorrent extension was originally developed as a part of the Wyzo web-browser. Because Wyzo is based on the open-source Firefox browser, we only had to make some minor changes for the extension to be compatible with Firefox.
