Your favourite Console (s) of all time.

Hi everyone,

i would like to start a post with your favourite console(s). Consoles as well as Handhelds - just what you think is/was the best gaming system.

Consoles and Videogaming has come a long way since the first consoles and games were coming out in early 70's and many game consoles have been created since then. Video games raised from "primitive" looking moving blocks in a blocky world to near realistic 3D environments and charakters. But it also was a long journey to get where we are now, and the world have seen many generations of consoles.

So what do you think is the best console / generation of console? And if like to add a game or anything else you want to add feel free to do it.

- My personal favourite Console is the SNES / Super Nintendo Entertainment System. While its for sure not as good as modern consoles or the PC when it comes to graphics or audio quality it still have a nice artistical touch to many games on the system, also the gameplay was/is extremly good, a lot of games are still very enjoyable and they will always be classics to the whole videogame universe. Gameplay from this era have been copied to to a lot modern indie games, as well as a lot of revivals. These modern retro like games were even some of the best selling games from the last generation of consoles.
