Xbox One X release news, GTA 5 games reveal, 4K update

While fans will no doubt be more interested in Xbox One X 4K games that are being enhanced, there are other big advantages to owning the console.


The new hardware won’t give graphics boosts to games that aren’t releasing new 4K packs, but it will have other benefits.


Older titles could see other boosts, including shorter loading times and less drops in frame rates.


And it just so happens that one of the most popular games around could be included in this list.


For anyone who has played GTA 5 and GTA 5 Online, you know that sometimes you get stuck dialing in.


But the most recent reports suggest that Xbox One X running GTA 5 sees a heavy cut in these wait.


Those who have compared Grand Theft Auto on Xbox One S vs Xbox One X have noted that there could be a 40-second drop in loading times.
This hasn’t been officially confirmed by Rockstar or Microsoft, although it would be a massive boost for fans of the hit title.


It should be noted that no official announcement has been made on GTA 5 Online getting another upgrade for the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.


Xbox One X has been given a boost ahead of release date, as another killer 4K app makes its debut on the console.


Microsoft has just confirmed that the Amazon Prime Video app is now available on Xbox One and Xbox One X.


Amazon Prime customers can now stream TV shows and movies on the Xbox One at no extra cost.


Even better is that select Amazon Prime TV shows and films are available in 4K UHD, which means you can showcase the power of the new console.

Amazon Prime also offers offline viewing on mobile devices, so you can watch content on the move.


The Amazon Prime Video app is available from the Microsoft store, where it can be downloaded for free.


But it's not all good news, especially if you haven't already pre-ordered the Xbox One X.


In the latest update on the Xbox One X release date stock situation, Microsoft have reaffirmed the idea that there will be competition for what is available.


It was recently revealed that UK stock would be limited in the first week of the Xbox One X launch and it appears that demand is high all over.
Speaking to CNBC, Panos Panay, corporate vice president of devices at Microsoft, talked more on the subject, but avoided speaking about actual numbers.


"I won't talk about the exact numbers but the demand is super high, we are very, very excited about Xbox One X right now," Panoy explained.

"I won't compare it to other consoles.


“What I'll say is the demand for Xbox One X right now is exactly where we anticipated, even more so when you see that excitement for the product... this is something that resonates with gamers."
