headsets and controllers

Hi all, so my sons dropped hes turtle beach stealth 700 max or whatever its called and the ear cup has snapped, only a few month old but for some reason i cant work out i didnt pay card and havelost the reciept like an idiot so £150 down the drain.... so ive got him a cheap one for now and told him hel have to wait for christmas because the kid wants nothing lol so gotta make him wait so ive got another thing to get him lol.

anyway does anyone have any recomendations for a good wireless headset thats not gunna break easily up to £200 if its decent. i was gunna get astro a50s but after the amount of bad reviews about connection dropping (and the 1 person i know with them who now cant connect them to hes xbox) i wouldnt dare waste money on them sooo please fireaway with your experiences of decent headsets good and bad :)

and also im looking to treat him to a good controller aswell so im open to opinions on them too, hes using a xbox series x. i looked at the elite series 2 but its 5 year old and stick drifts an issue obviously because premium brands seem to be lagging behind the cheap brands who are using hall effect sticks that take away that problem..... any advice welcome guys.
