Graphics or Gameplay?

I'm not much fof a Game player but just love messing around in Photoshop so it would have to be graphcs

I prefer Gameplay :top:

GamePlay of course... Even with very good graphics, if gameplay is poor... then its totally boring...

Gameplay of course. There are still PS1 RPGs that I wouldn't trade to play right now.

Gameplay. That's why some games never get old, like Prince of Persia, Starcraft 1 and Morrowind.
Of course many newer games have great gameplay too.
Newer good games with relatively poor or oldschool graphics still have a chance to get positive reviews and popularity, like Fez and Antichamber.

Graphics only matter to a point where it doesn't hinder gameplay. Gameplay is much more important than graphics.

Gameplay.. One of the better games i played are from the snes and ps1/ps2 area.. Graphics are nice but gameplay makes me crave more out of a game

Agreed with this, I prefer the psx/ps2 generation where games have a lot of depth to it compared to most games nowadays with reaally shallow gameplay where graphics is the focus

Gameplay is a meaningless word. You wouldn't say "This movie has a great moviewatch".

I see your point, but you surely do understand the idea behind the word "gameplay". Just an easy way of expressing "is this game enjoyable?"

defenetly gameplay.. there is no point in playing a game that just have great graphics.. might be nice for a few momtents, but then you get tired of it... old games are offent played while attending to LAN party's as they have great gameplay that you can have hours of fun with..

Really great poll. Grear subject to think about. But i will still say - Gameplay for sure.

Movies aren't interactive

gameplay obvously....though the games that hsve good gameplay usually have good graphics

Gameplay should always win this, if you are really only interested in the pretty you should probably just watch a newer 3d movie.

Mostly gameplay, but of course if the graphics are awful it's going to be a bit hard to enjoy it :P

Graphics

Gameplay over Graphics anyday. As long as you make a game enjoyable you don't really have to focus on graphics.
One great example is FTL, the game's graphic is so simple, but the gameplay on the other hand is amazing.

I think there must be a option gameplay and graphics

I would say that the Graphics should be maxed out so I can enjoy the game play very well.

Game play for me some times i play pretty old games and i still enjoy even though it is low res on 40 in TV but the graphic comes second to balance the experience on some newer games that lacks a little in game play. the newest games i like have both
