Gran Turismo 7 Will Push PS5 To the Limit With 4K 60FPS & Ray Tracing
Gran Turismo 7 is boasting powerful next-gen gameplay with 4K 60 FPS and ray-tracing technology. The long-awaited next-gen racing game was revealed in June, and will be released as a Playstation 5 exclusive. Like all games in the series, Gran Turismo 7 will emulate a real-life driving experience as much as possible.
As outlined on the PlayStation website, Gran Turismo 7 aims to do much more than its forebears in terms of bringing its simulation close to real life. The new game will boast 60 FPS on 4k resolution, and will boast ray-traced graphics to make the cars and environments look as realistic as possible. The game will also be taking advantage of the PS5's solid state drive to all but eradicate loading screens, and the immersion will extend out of the screen thanks to the haptic feedback built into the PS5 controller. A brief disclaimer mentions that these upper-limit technical advancements will require an appropriately powerful TV.
For video game fans who aren't connected to the racing genre, games like Gran Turismo can tend to blend in with other racing games on the market, like Forza or Project Cars.
