Disney Dreamlight Valley Screenshot is Very Reminiscent of Animal Crossing: New Horiz
A Disney Dreamlight Valley player came across a moment in the game that is very familiar to an event that gamers see in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulator very reminiscent of Animal Crossing, allowing players to live in a virtual town full of Disney and Pixar characters. The game allows players to explore a world filled with adventures and quests while maintaining their neighborhood's layout, landscaping, and items.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players are able to come across a bird named Gulliver. Gamers will find him washed up on their island's beach, and will be sent on a quest to find parts for his NookPhone, which has been broken. A Disney Dreamlight Valley player captured a scene in the title that is very similar to the encounter with Gulliver, though the Animal Crossing character has been replaced with a very famous duck.
A Reddit user named CupKitts posted an image of themselves on a beach in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Laying up on the shore is Donald Duck in his sailor outfit, which looks very similar to Gulliver's. CupKitts was able to capture the image at the perfect time, making it look like Donald washed up on shore. The scene will bring back memories to anyone who has played Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and would be entertaining for those who are playing Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Many on Reddit have mentioned that feel like they have seen this scene before. One gamer stated that maybe CupKitts shouldn't wake this bird, while another said Donald and Gulliver would be best friends. A user commented that the two birds are definitely in cahoots to be the most annoying character in their respective games, while a few more joked that Donald had just used Zettaflare from Kingdom Hearts 3.

As Disney Dreamlight Valley continues to grow and eventually leave Early Access, developer Gameloft will have plenty of material to work with through Disney's massive bank of franchises.
