Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
Steve Carrell doing a dramatic role in an indie dark romantic comedy set in the lead-up to the end of the world. Actually pretty decent. The high-stakes premise gives the generic odd-couple romance content far more weight and philosophical implications. It's also pretty funny. Recommended
Lights out.
The Accountant, which I thought was unexpectedly good.
Roustabout (1964) -- Elvis Presley
The Master. Masterfully done! Another brilliant PT Anderson flick.
