The Simpsons. Way past it's peak but still a good watch.
Westworld
Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Westworld
Depends on what I am watching of course but I would definitely say true blood is top three, perhaps suits and prison break are the other two
I was talking with my friends the other day, and even though big budget monsters like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are within my favorite shows, my heart will always stay with Californication. I don't know why. It's just the best show I've ever watched. I can go through multiple reruns, no sweat.
Too many to list, but I'm really looking forward to season 2 of The Expanse on SyFy.
Mine would be Dexter, but I thought the show's quality past Season 3 started to drop off quite a bit. I'll go with Seinfeld.
1. Lost & Game of Thrones (tie)
2. Breaking Bad
3. Homeland
4. How I Met Your Mother
5. True Blood
Game of Thrones, Daredevil, Breaking Bad.
Game of Thrones
House of Cards
This Is Us

the truth is out there...
The Man In The High Castle. Lots of misconceptions regarding Nazi Germany in it though, and I feel as if the underlying plot line is a bit dumb at times. It's interesting though, and I'm pretty pumped for Season 3.
breaking bad definitely.
for comedy, modern family is the best one.
Battlestar Galactica, hands down the best tv show of all time!
The Sopranos, easily
Well for where i start, smallville, the vampire diaries, the walking dead, charmed, the originals, the X-files, supernatural, once upon a time, ghost whisperer, Lost, american horror story, Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel, 24,..... but my favorite of all of them is, the x files.
The Big Bang Theory
Firefly, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis. I will never forget them.
24, Vikings, GOT, Designated Survivor and Smallville were the best so far, still have plenty to watch..

Can't agree enough. British TV series are always on my top.
What about newer ones, like Spaced, Utopia, Black Mirror...? And anything by Graham Lineham, though I'm quite partial to Black Books (probably not the obvious one).
(I know your post is quite old, but I was reading the thread and being quite surprised British series didn't come up that often, I guess I'm an oldie too)
