Mine has to be Sherlock, man. Kind of obvious what with the username I have, but hey, originality is a virtue. I also love House MD (or did, when it was still running) and I'm quite a fan of various British comedy shows like The Office, Black Books and Moone Boy. I'm fairly certain I like other things too but thinking is apparently too much for my brain right now so I'll quit whilst I'm ahead...

+1 for Sherlock (BBC version, not Elementary on CBS) as sherlocked above said. I think this might be a little known gem in North America. I know a buddy introduced me to it and got me hooked. It's so good, they only make 3 episodes (1.5hrs each) every 2-3years. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman kick ass in it.
other than that, yes I have to agree with most of the others - Game of Thrones, Dexter (although not sure about how that ended), Breaking Bad, Walking Dead.
I'll add Ripper Street - it's good, if you like Sherlock Holmes (the movie with Robert Downey jr and Jude Law) and the set design+costumes+feel of 1880-ish England; you won't be disappointed. Plus the acting is pretty good; and IT Crowd - you'll love it, esp if you are in IT yourself.
Bro, that's because Sherlock is awesome. Fact. I actually don't watch Game of Thrones but I feel like I should probably start, I don't know... and as far as the Walking Dead goes, I've read up to like 130 of the comics and I think the comics do it better - though I haven't seen the latest series so I can't be too judgemental. Breaking Bad is next on my stuff to watch list!
As far as Ripper Street goes, I'd be interested in watching it but I know it got cancelled so I'm a bit like eeeeh, you know? Also, if you like the IT Crowd, I think you'd be a big fan of Black Books. Just sayin'!
