Ryan Reynolds Shares First Look at Josh Brolin as Cable in 'Deadpool 2'
"We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future," Reynolds tweeted.
Ryan Reynolds knows how to get a Monday going for Deadpool fans.
The actor shared the first official look at Josh Brolin as Cable in the upcoming Deadpool 2. This is the second Monday in a row the star has shared a look at one of the character's in the anti-superhero Marvel sequel.
"We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future. #PremiumCABLE," Reynolds tweeted.
Added Brolin on Instagram: "Now offering 25 percent off your next autopsy. ☠️ #youremine #deadpool"
Fans have gotten to see plenty of Brolin getting ready for the role, the Oscar-nominated actor sharing pictures and video of himself getting jacked in the gym. However, Monday was the first reveal of the character, which included the facial scars and a cybernetic eye.
A few minutes after the first photo of just Cable's face, Reynolds shared a second picture of the character's entire torso, which included his cybernetic arm and a whole lot of ammo.
Reynolds a prolific social media user with more than 6.6 million followers — has been leaving little Deadpool teaser breadcrumbs the past few weeks as production got underway.
The first peek was a photo of Deadpool chilling out in front of the X-Mansion. Last Monday, Reynolds tweeted out the first official look of actress Zazie Beetz as Domino.
Deadpool 2 has a June 1, 2018 release date.
