Robert Redford, Jane Fonda Reunite in 'Our Souls at Night' Teaser

The Netflix adaptation debuts Sept. 29.

Robert Redford and Jane Fonda are reunited in the teaser for Netflix's Our Souls at Night.
The drama, based on Kent Haruf's 2015 novel, centers on widowed neighbors who unexpectedly find love. The Colorado-set story begins when Addie Moore (Fonda) pays a sudden visit to a neighbor, Louis Waters (Redford). Her husband died years ago, as did his wife, and in such a small town they'd been neighbors for decades. They seek to establish a connection and make the most of the rest of the time they have.
Ritesh Batra directed the movie from a script by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. Bruce Dern, Matthias Schoenaerts, Judy Greer and Iain Armitage are also among the cast.
Our Souls at Night marks the fourth onscreen collaboration between Redford and Fonda, who first played a married couple in the 1966 thriller The Chase. They then played newlyweds in the 1967 romantic comedy Barefoot in the Park, and starred opposite each other in 1979’s The Electric Horseman.
Our Souls at Night will be released on Netflix and in select theaters Sept. 29.
