Marvel Might've Just Linked Gorr To The MCU Multiverse
Marvel might have linked Gorr the God Butcher to the MCU multiverse thanks to his time in the Shadow Realm and a curious She-Hulk episode 3 moment.

Gorr the God Butcher might have had a multiverse connection in Thor: Love and Thunder based on a quick reference in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law episode 3. Due to the growing importance of the multiverse in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was plenty of speculation about how Thor: Love and Thunder could possibly continue to use it. Theories that Jane Foster's Mighty Thor came from the multiverse were incorrect, and the movie seemingly had no major connections to alternate universes and timelines, especially where Gorr's story was concerned. However, it now seems Marvel may have secretly connected the two.
After the death of his daughter in Thor: Love and Thunder's opening, Gorr made it his mission to kill all gods in the MCU. His ultimate goal was to visit Eternity using the power of the Bifrost and use the entity's one wish to wipe them all out. Gorr's plan required obtaining Stormbreaker from Thor, which led to Thor, Mighty Thor, and Valkyrie fighting the villain in a black-and-white location known as the Shadow Realm. Instead of being a two-dimensional plane of existence like in the comics, the MCU updated the location to be a planet in the vast universe. The Shadow Realm grants Gorr incredible power thanks to the Necrosword's connection to it.
It is now possible that Gorr and the Shadow Realm have a multiverse connection. She-Hulk episode 3 sees Wong mention the Shadow Dimension alongside the Mirror Dimension as a place where Abomination could be sent to. Dimensions and realms are interchangeable terms in the MCU, but both are typically tied to mystical or magical properties. If the Shadow Dimension mentioned by Wong is the same as the Shadow Realm, then it would seem that the location's mystical connections are quite strong. And since MCU magic is directly tied to the multiverse, it is now possible that Gorr the God Butcher has multiverse ties thanks to the Shadow Realm.
How Gorr The God Butcher Can Return In MCU Phase 5 or 6
Gorr could return in MCU Phase 5 or 6 thanks to his possible new multiverse connection. There are obviously variants of Gorr that exist in the MCU multiverse, but his experience with the Shadow Realm could be used to bring back the same one from the Earth-616 universe. He could have an even greater understanding of the multiverse than Thor: Love and Thunder suggested, as Eternity is a powerful multiverse being too. Marvel could even prove pre-release theories that Gorr can travel the multiverse were correct by revealing the MCU's Pool of Forevers (which Gorr used to travel through time in the comics) is located on the Shadow Realm.
If Gorr the God Butcher does return after Thor: Love and Thunder, the best chance for him to appear again is Avengers: The Kang Dynasty or Avengers: Secret Wars. These two movies will be heavily tied to the MCU multiverse, so he could be brought in to help fight Kang or used by the conqueror to fend off the Avengers. Obviously, Marvel would need to convince Christian Bale to return to accomplish this. Even with Gorr the God Butcher's MCU return seeming unlikely, the unlimited possibilities inherent with the multiverse and comic book movies' tendencies to reverse death means it is not off the table - especially if She-Hulk: Attorney At Law just made the Shadow Realm a multiverse location.
