John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum Trailer: John Prepares for War
The new trailer for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum has been officially released online. After getting its start back in 2014, the John Wick series is one of several Hollywood franchises that looks to be winding down to a close in 2019. Though director Chad Stahelski has stated he'll always have ideas for more sequels, Parabellum has - as far back as June 2017 - been sold as the "completion to Mr. Wick's journey." Whether that means the Baba Yaga meets his end this time around remains to be seen, but one way or another, the film should provide a sense of finality for the character.
Subtitle Parabellum is an indication of that. Building off Chapter 2's cliffhanger ending, the third film sees John go to war against the very underground society he was once a part of, fighting for his life against the High Table and all of the assassins interested in collecting the $14 million bounty on his head. Fans are expecting nothing less than a hard-hitting thrill ride, and the first Parabellum trailer from earlier this year certainly teased that. Now, marketing continues with the debut of a new preview.
