Game of Thrones star Kit Harington has an amused reaction to an absurd Iron Throne-inspired toilet. The Emmy-nominated English actor broke through for his portrayal of the brooding bastard turned reluctant hero in all nine seasons of HBO's massively popular fantasy series. Even after the show has ended, Harington remains entrenched in the world of Game of Thrones.

Harington recently make his first-ever appearance on The View to promote his new film, Baby Ruby, and when the conversation naturally turned to Game of Thrones, host Whoopi Goldberg took the opportunity to reveal her Iron Throne-inspired toilet.

Her cohost's confirmed that this is Goldberg's actual toilet in her dressing room, which is heated and decorated with metalwork inspired by the throne that Aegon the Conqueror famously forged from the blades of his fallen foes. Everything We Know About The Jon Snow Spinoff Show

Harington's reaction to the Iron Throne-inspired toilet comes amidst much uncertainty about the status of his Jon Snow spinoff series. It's been over six months since a Game of Thrones sequel series centered on Jon Snow was reported to be in very early development at HBO, and there haven't been many substantial updates on its progress since then. George R.R. Martin has confirmed that the show is in the works under the working title "Snow."

Other than Harington attached to reprise his role as Jon Snow, no writers or other members of the creative team have been announced. The spinoff is still a ways away from revealing official plot details, though it can be assumed it will follow Jon Snow after being banished from Westeros and heading beyond the Wall with the Wildings during the Game of Thrones finale. No other cast members have been confirmed, though Kristofer Hivju's Tormund Giantsbane is a likely candidate to return, along with a few other Wilding characters.

While the Jon Snow spinoff is progressing slowly through development, House of the Dragon season 2 is moving along smoothly and is set to start filming soon. Harington previously shared his reaction to House of the Dragon season 1, saying he is really enjoying the Game of Thrones prequel series, though he probably never expected to be reacting to an Iron Throne toilet. Game of Thrones' fervent viewers is very much alive and thriving, so this likely won't be the last time the Jon Snow actor encounters an offbeat artifact inspired by the fantasy show.
