Frank Grillo Cast As New Rick Flag In James Gunn's DC Universe
Frank Grillo joins the cast of Creature Commandos in the role of Rick Flag Sr. The upcoming animated TV show was announced in January as part of DC Studios' Chapter 1 slate, title Gods & Monsters. It will release in 2024 on HBO Max.
The Wrap reports that Grillo will voice Rick Flag Sr in Creature Commandos. The only other confirmed member of the cast is Sean Gunn, who reprises the role of Weasel from The Suicide Squad. All seven episodes of Creature Commandos were written by James Gunn.
