Prime Video reveals first-look images of The English starring Emily Blunt. The English is a limited series written and directed by Hugo Blick, whose previous work includes The Shadow Line, The Honourable Woman, and Black Earth Rising. Blunt leads the cast alongside Chaske Spencer, Ciarán Hinds, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Tom Hughes, Valerie Pachner, and Stephen Rea. The plot follows an aristocratic Englishwoman, Lady Cornelia Locke (Blunt), in 1890s middle America, who joins a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout, Eli Whipp (Spencer), as they encounter terrifying situations on their way to a remote town in Wyoming where bizarre and macabre murders have taken place.

Prime Video shared the first images from The English, which feature Blunt and Spencer. The pictures give a glimpse of the Old West setting with a beautiful sunset and sparse hotel. However, Blunt's Cornelia can also be seen in various stages, appearing in formal dresses and typical western attire, teasing her character's journey throughout the limited series.
