EastEnders’ Phil squirms as he helps Kim give birth to a baby boy

EASTENDERS’ Phil Mitchell squirmed and squealed as he helped Kim Fox-Hubbard give birth to a baby boy during tonight’s episode.

Viewers hailed the scene the “best ever” as the Walford hard-man had to try his hand at midwifery for the night.

Phil ended up having to help Kim after the pair got locked inside the Minute Mart storeroom.

Kim was screaming as she realised she was going into labour, with Phil calling for an ambulance.

He looked horrified as the operator demanded he “get down the business end”.

Kim wouldn’t let Phil near her until the operator insisted he check how dilated she was.

The incredible scenes saw Phil and Kim’s relationship evolve – with Phil eventually helping Kim give birth to a gorgeous baby boy.

Viewers called the moment “iconic” and said it would go down in soap history.

One tweeted: “The faces Phil Mitchell pulled delivering Kim’s baby in #Eastenders is the funniest Eastenders moment ever.”

Another said: “Seeing Phil Mitchell deliver a baby has made my Christmas!”

While a third added: “Omg I can’t deal with Phil’s facial expressions!”

Also during tonight’s episode, viewers predicted a major plot twist and said they thought Mick Carter was selling off Stuart Highway’s body parts as cut price turkey.

Last week, Mick was seen beating the living daylights out of Stuart in a brutal revenge attack.

While it’s not known if Stuart is dead, viewers have speculated that Mick did finish the psychopath off and joked that he’s now flogging his body parts.

One tweeted: “Has Mick cut up Stuart and is now selling him as turkey legs?”

Another asked: “Wonder if Mick has cut up Stuart and is selling the parts as turkey crown?”

However their theory became unstuck at the end of the episode, as Stuart popped up at Dot Cotton’s house and accepted her offer to stay for Christmas.
