Bron Creative signs $100m co-financing deal with Warner Bros

Bron Creative has signed a $100 million co-financing deal with Warner Bros Pictures covering six features from the studio and its New Line Cinema division.

Warner projects covered by the deal - which expands on Bron Creative’s co-financing arrangement for New Line’s The Good Liar - include recent Clint Eastwood release The Mule, DC Comics origin story Joker, set for release next autumn with Joaquin Phoenix starring, and upcoming Ben Affleck drama Torrance.

The upcoming New Line projects are Rebel Wilson/Liam Hemsworth comedy Isn’t It Romantic, Mob drama The Kitchen, with Melissa McCarthy, and romantic comedy Superintelligence, also with McCarthy.

Bron Creative is a joint venture between Aaron Gilbert’s Canada-headquartered film and TV production and financing operation Bron Studios and Jason Cloth’s Creative Wealth Media, a film and TV financier backed by the Laborers International Union of North America Pension Plan for Central and Eastern Canada. Gilbert and Cloth will serve as executive producers on the films covered by the co-financing deal.
