@Insideman, many people are reporting that registration doesn't work at the moment, due to database issues. Maybe, we should close the thread for now.

It is asking for invite code.

no. not closed. invite code is OPTIONAL
I just signed up and it worked for me. No invitation code required. The confirmation e-mail arrived within seconds.
