Description

PixelHD is a specialty movie site with an intentionally small userbase...but they are always looking for good users and just raised our user cap recently. This is a ratio-free site and also one of the best-maintained and visually pleasing trackers around. Every torrent on the site is a custom rip, and this is the only place to find these files since they're never uploaded anywhere else. They encode ONLY from full Blu-Ray discs or untouched remuxes; there are no transcodes, R5's or inferior sources allowed on the site. PixelHD started out as PS3-TEAM, specializing in 4GB/1080p/AC3-640k/m2ts encodes for the PS3 (which has a 4GB FAT32 file limit). Since then we've switched to the mp4 container for its superior quality and compatibility, but of course we still support the PS3. Our encodes are not just for PS3 users but for any device that can play (or stream) mp4...and these days, almost everything supports mp4. Almost all movies are available in multiple formats (and of course, anything can be requested). The most popular types are:

PxHD Mobies - 720p/AAC/mp4 at 1.5-2GB (esp. for Mobile Devices);
PxHD/PxEHD - 1080p/AC3/mp4 at 4GB and 8GB; and
PxHDA - 1080p/DTS/ at "whatever size is necessary" for high transparency (usually 6-12gb).

Many users scoff at the idea of a 4GB/1080p movie but that always stops when they see the quality; the encoders use an excellent compression recipe and you will be stunned at the possibilities after you watch your first movie. The site itself is also one of the best-looking, --with a close-knit community and active forums, and with new features added all the time.

But to be honest the tracker has a lot of STUPID/issues when it comes to control their users. That's why you have so many people saying it's not worth to join them.

I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY THAT I PASSED THEIR APPLICATION ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO AND NEVER USE IT BECAUSE I NEED IT ,
ONLY TO KEEP MY ACCOUNT ALIVE. :P

Stats?

I love it -- it may not be the fastest with the release and yes, some of the older stuff may not have many seeds. But the site has a really good layout, the people are friendly and it seems like a place for adults. So I'm a big fan and supporter.
