Description
This was my very first private tracker. It was during the good old days when there wasn’t this massive rush to be part of these so called ‘you’re never going to get in so go find a corner to cry in’ trackers.
Does Exigo live up to all the hype around it these days? Probably not. There’s no denying that it’s a good tracker. Great even. But it’s not a tracker worth it’s ridiculously high price tag. It’s expensive because of how difficult it is to get in. Not because of the out of this world experience you get from being a member. If downloading music in FLAC means little or nothing to you…please look elsewhere. FLAC uploads dominate this site. With that being said, my favorite aspect of the tracker is the amount of rare vintage music it has.
If you’re into old or classical music, chances are that you will definitely find whatever record you’re looking for.
Other great upsides include
-Ratioless
-Quality uploads
-Booklets with uploads
-Good tagging system
-Music artwork
Downsides
- Not a completely well rounded music tracker
What about their community?
It’s pretty much dead. People don’t tend to make any requests either.
Conclusion
Exigo is not for everyone. I would absolutely not recommend this tracker to the everyday user who is looking to download modern and popular tracks. You will not find most of the popular stuff that’s out there today. Waffles is a great place for that. Forget about this one if you can find what you’re looking for on the other easier to join music trackers. You would be wasting a lot of time and money on something you don’t need. But for the selected few that enjoy tunes of the past or high quality rare music uploads, Exigo may just be the perfect tracker for you.
