AHD is celebrating their 2nd year running on Gazelle codebase. The tracker itself has excellent torrents, all of course HD. All torrents have been specifically encoded for AHD, with best quality in mind. The site also has in-house encoders. People who encode and are dedicated to the site. Majority of time they encode for HD (1080p BluRay) and HD audio. These releases are called 'internal releases' - the site averages around 5 new releases everyday, along with other normal torrents. The internal releases are also 75% freeleech, a great way to boost up your ratio.
AHD has a great design. It's simple, sleek and it does the job. It's easy to navigate the site, the links are at the top along with your username and ratio info. In your user CP you can also change to various other themes, or you can link to your custom created .css stylesheet and load that design.
The download speed of torrents is great as well. You should be able to hit your max dl on most torrents. That is since a lot of users have seedboxes. Every torrent usually has a few seeders, and if there isn't then you can click the button "request reseed".
AHD is a top contender for HD torrents. The community is great, groups of dedicated encoders releasing new 1080p movies daily, and fast speeds. There's not much more you could ask for from an HD private tracker.

The community on AHD is extremely helpful. Whether you're asking about encoding, playback, or site related questions someone will help you (forums or IRC)
Navigation - 7/10
The links are together on a distinguished spot, thus easy to navigate. Although I would like them to possibly be a little more eye appealing.
Speed - 9/10
Most torrents have great speeds, a lot of peers have seedboxes, for even better speeds.
Content - 7.5/10
There is a good selection of torrents, although it could be better. There's a request section if you don't see what you want.
Overall - 7.8/10
Pros:

* Most users go for internal releases to get their ratio up
All in all, I must say this is my favourite tracker. The content is great, speeds are excellent and I couldn't ask for a better userbase. This is probably one of the more under appreciated trackers out there, although hopefully this review can change that.
