Prepare yourselves for the great purge on XSpeeds!


You asked and you shall receive!

The search engine on site has been slow for a long time. WE EXPECT the reason for this has been because of the massive amount of dead torrents filling the site.

In response to this we have decided to delete EVERY dead torrent on site older than 2022 in hopes this should make the search faster on site.

The festivities will happen on January 1st 2023 whenever staff has sobered up.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND this mass deletion will only happen to DEAD torrents = 0 seeders. So if you want something to survive after the great purge, make sure you seed whatever you want to keep on site at least all January 1st and for good measures January 2nd taking into account of time differences.

All other dead torrents will otherwise be DELETED!

My opinion, which I shared with them....

The purged items should be separated into a different data base.
If speeds do not improve, then they should be added back in

The search should be modified so that you can choose to search the data base of dead torrents and if desired, ask for a reseed.
