A Change To Donations


Since we have now hit 100% on a few occasions we though it was about time to look at giving our users a little more for their donations, aside from helping to keep this great site alive !

The main addition is a ticket system entering you into a draw for a seedox for the whole month ! The seedbox will be a dedicated 100Mbit box based at OVH and will be set up for you with rTorrent and ruTorrent front end. You will be given the log in details allowing you to use the box for any private site you wish. We will not limit your use of the box to our site. If you have a ratio that needs building elsewhere then you are free to do so ! The box will also not be shared so you will be able to utlilise it to it's full potential. The only thing we will be strict on is that the box is only used on a private tracker !

There are currently 2 seedboxes that can be won.

We can only offer these seedboxes should overall donations hit 100% otherwsie we will simply be adding to the cost of the site which will inevitably end up being paid for from my own pocket. And as nice as I am I don't have the funds to give you guys a site for free along with a free seedbox

As you can see below the higher the donation amount, the more tickets you get into the draw. The sytem will only allow a single person to be awarded a single box. So if you have 10 tickets you can still only get 1 box for 1 month, you just have a higher chance of winning it. If you donate for a second month and win for a second month in a row, you can keep your current box for the next month.

Seedboxes will be fully wiped clear of any and all information, torrents etc on the last day of the given month ready to be given to the new winner on the first day of the following month.

You will also now recieve invites for donations since we are now a closed site. Before these were a one time only deal, but they will now build up as and when you donate depending on the amount. There is no limit to the amount of invites you can have but we do ask that you DO NOT sell them. People have already been banned here for selling invites. Unlike other sites we do NOT hold you responsible for the person you invite. If they should mess up then they will be punished and NOT you. All we ask is that you use them wisely and help to build the community with good members that will be of benefit to the community.

Currently we only accept donations Via PayPal and BitCoins.

We are hopefull that this is another step in the right donation for us as a site and we hope that it will encourage people to donate a little more often so we don't have to come with our cap in hand asking to help keep us afloat.

Donations that take us over 100% will be rolled into the following months bill. If donations consistantly go over 100% then we can look at adding more seedboxes to be won and also increase the sites hardware by adding more content and even faster pre times and longer seeding times.

And finally on behalf of all the staff here, I just want to say thank you to all of you for helping to build this site into a name that is now being recognised more and more. people are starting to sit up and take notice of what we are doing.

We have a lot more to come :-)
