Changes to Allowed Music Content


Dear TO members

In recent months we've been seeing an increasing number of generic music-only torrents being uploaded and it has reached a point where we need to clarify the rules on this somewhat as it is becoming problematic in terms of diluting the specific nature of the site content.

So, from now onwards we will only be allowing the following specific music types:

Ritual/Ceremonial/Devotional music: Music which is a recording of a ritual or designed to accompany a ritual, ceremony or devotional.

Meditation: Instructional only, the product has to include instructions for a specific meditation or be designed for a specific meditation. No generic meditation music.

Hemisync, Binaural beats, etc: The only products allowed are those with a specific occult aim: OBE, Astral travel, etc. This does not include relaxation, self improvement, LOA, etc – these are better suited to our sister site theplace.bz

If you have any doubts or if you believe your upload to be an exception please use the 'Can I Upload This?' thread before uploading, as the torrent will most likely be removed.



PayPal Donations Reactivated

We finally sorted out the IPN connection issue with PayPal support today and have re-enabled it on the site.

In addition, the staff team will forthwith be going through the Browse list and removing existing torrents which do not meet the specific requirements above.

Thanks for your understanding with this, we don't like deleting content but we believe this is necessary for the integrity and benefit of the site and community.
