Any word on BitmeTV or x264? Both went down at the same time and are still down. Both mentioned datacenter issues on IRC--leading to wonder if they were hosted at the same place--but I can't connect to either IRC server any longer.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything new to report on the issue.

I think it's safe to stick a fork in x264.me and bitmetv.org at this point. Damned disappointing.
