PrivateHD News - Invites closed globally

The persistent banner on the main site is evident enough and you all know that the invites are being disabled globally.

The question stands why. There is no single explanation here.

We have reached a point where we have enough quality users on site who strive to make this site a better place. Since the starting days, users have been abusing the lenient system and inviting their family members on the same IP, creating duplicate accounts or outright selling/trading them on dedicated invite forums. That is NEVER acceptable.
It's tiring to go through the admin panel everyday to find multitude of accounts that are on the same IP or tons of people invited by some random giveaway on a random site.

For people who are on other reputable sites, you all already know that invites being closed is a common practice. It helps maintain healthy seed pools and in return keeps everyone safe from nefarious users. In fact, most sites out there have a closed invite system where they are ONLY handed out rarely to trusted users.

So, we have decided to limit how the invites are given. Either the system will completely be disabled by the end of the month or limited severely. But under both circumstances, invites maybe given out at the discretion of staff to users who request one. Otherwise you are just out of luck.

To those who currently possess invites or have the points to buy them, you can use them till the end of November. But remember to invite people only who you trust or you might find your whole tree banned/disabled.

Who will get invites after November?

Admins/Mods: Unlimited
Staffs: As required (will be allocated by Admins)
Uploaders/Team: Can ask staffs/Mods/Admins for invite, giving us details of who you are inviting.
Life Time VIP: 2 invites
1 Year VIP: 1 Invite
Other users: 0
You can invite your friends to go through the application process.

yes, "normal" invites were available till 1st december (today), now they are really expensive, but with just around 10 or 20 TB it probably will only take some months to farm them ;)

@Axort 100k, Wtf?

If I'm going to earn 100k better I do it in CHD or M-Team, PrivateHD takes out the full BDs of these trackers anyway...

some Chinese trackers are better in my opinion ;)

on CHD and MTeam you can get like 20-30 points per hour for one torrent,
its not really hard to get 100k there, but on PHD its now really hard.
And thats what they want it to be, if you really seed a lot there you can get a few invites over a long time.

so that you REALLY think about who you give the invite.
its just like what te gazelle based trackers should do,
i guess PHD may think that way, if most people will need like a year or more to get one invite, they will be VERY VERY VERY rare on site likes TI.org
therefore the risks are extremly low the "wrong" people will be inivted.
if all those traker staffers are so paranoid about invite forums, will this is the best solution.

and sure PHD has a lot of content from other trackers, but they also have good internal BD upload, also on PHD large torrents are ALWAYS freeleech, not thats really hard on CHD or MTeam to maintain ratio.

If you can trade seed points for an invite, even don't know whether you will be able to send it out.

@zhanglin - for most it probably will take a very long time to reach that amount of bous points, but yes i am not sure too about if it is possible or not, but the price is really high, maybe too high for a useless invite ;)

On CHD and MTeam you can't get 20-30 points per hour for one torrent. There is no limit on M-Team for the points you can get each hour, but I'm sure that 1 torrent does not will give you 20-30 points per hour.

On CHD the maximun points to earn are around 60 points per hour, also here you will not get the half of points allowed per a only one torrent.

PrivateHD has good collection, but CHD and M-Team have more than the triple Full BDs than PrivateHD, apart that the most premiere movies are uploaded on CHD, HDC, M-Team or other chinese trackers first.

I'm only agree with you on one thing, in this way the invites will be trade very little, they will practically end, but not totally

Actually, seeders can get "up-to" 20p/h on a large torrent. The matter lies in the size of the seeding torrent itself rather than in the number torrents and total seeding data. I mean if you seed a torrent of about 100GB in size, you will probably get more points than seeding 3 torrents the size of which is 35GB each. I say "probably" because I met this before, and have not tested again before writing this post. But I'm sure things will still keep happening like that.

The maximum seed point per hour is more than 60p. I'm very sure about this. From CHD's seed point calculation, I guess the maximum is 70p per hour. Don't remember exactly whether Donor gets double seed points per hour not not. Users can use points to buy an invite but he can not send it out atm.
Don't forget to try self-assessment if you're a donor and you will have chances to earn more points as well as the chances to send out invites. Can VIP+ still send out invites?

After all, I think CHD is very promising, but it's promising only and I have no interest in it. Maybe time will tell more about it. And so is PrivateHD, but less promising in my opinion :p

yes, it's true that you can get more points if you have seending a large torrent than several short torrents, but I think you must seed a torrent with 500 GB at least..

also I think on the most of chinese trackers is the invites are open, on "closed trackers", if you are uploader or staff family you can obtain some invites and you can send them even if ¡t's closed for the rest of users

These days, I see few Chinese trackers that open theirs invites to user ranks, or invites are hard to get. Most Chinese trackers just open invites on several occasions. They even didn't keep on announcing invites would be closed on.....

See, even a tracker like PrivateHD has closed its invite system. I even don't know what is inside PrivateHD, lol, I'm not a fan of Avistaz network where I see trollers complacent and full of self-esteem. Amazing!
Chinese trackers don't pursue fantasy rumors. Look, even chd, which is a new tracker and longing to becoming another best in HD/Movie, did not run for fantasy rumors. Just hate the old way of assessment.

Btw, I think PrivateHD is exactly a sister of Oppaitime. I like reading jokes from those guys.
