FIRST UP GIALLO!


Welcome to Genre July, each week we're going to focus on a different Genre and a different Era. Genre fans rejoice, this month is for you, whether it's Giallo or Slasher, Action or SciFi, at some point, we got what you need, and we're gonna give it to you. So get ready because things are gonna get worse before they get better, welcome to Genre July, I hope we all make it out alive!

OH AND BEFORE I FORGET!!!! Big news, we're finally introducing a new Bonus Point system as a way to kick off the summer and Genre July! Details can be found in this post and the values we're using are a = 0.25, b = 0.6, c = 0.6

This new system is directly geared toward rewarding long term seeding and underseeded torrents, while still giving short term seeders a bit of help too.

First up 1960-1979 Thriller! (It's as close as we can get to Giallo!)

Each week a new Genre and a new Era will receive 24 hour freeleech, and they'll all count toward your total on the leaderboard. AND In conjunction with this AMAZING Month, we'll be having discussions about all the genres as the contest unfolds, hosted by ekrats you can receive a ton of points for checking out the thread and getting into the swing of Genre July!!!

The Schedule is as follows:

1960-1979 Thriller- We notice something is off
1970-1989 Horror- We get scared
1980-1999 Sci Fi- We fight the machine
1990-2009 Action- The machine fights back


For added fun, there will be a discussion thread with points being awarded for all kinds of things located here.
