Orpheus News - Server maintenance

After running into some problems when we were trying to do the last planned maintenance three weeks ago, the new date is scheduled for today, starting around 20:00 UTC.

We are going to move to MySQL 8 and PHP 8.1 which turned up a number of broken assumptions in Gazelle that needed to be fixed in order to make the switch. Spine has been very busy since then fixing (hopefully) all of those. Thanks to everyone on our Beta Team who tested and reported bugs!

If everything goes well the maintenance will last about four hours but may take significantly longer. Don't be worried if the site will be offline for up to 48 hours.

Site and tracker will be offline. IRC will remain online but without hermes.
