MoreThan.TV (MTV) News - Interview info

Interview Preparation:

[GENERAL REQUIREMENTS]
• You must have accounts in good standing at 2 private trackers that you must be able to provide screenshot and profile link proof of membership.
• You must be able to provide interviewer with a speedtest and/or proof of seedbox ownership.
• Have an email ready for use. Only Gmail, ProtonMail, or custom domains are allowed, no exceptions.
• You must take the interview from your home IP and dedicated client. VPN's, Web IRC's, IRC bouncers, and seedbox IP's are not allowed.

[TRACKER PROOFS]
• Each account must have been active for 6 months minimum.
• Each account must have a ratio of 1.5 or greater.
• Each account must have a minimum upload of 150GB.
• Screenshots need to be a full window capture (browser included) of the profile page with nothing censored, with the URL and current date and time clearly visible in the address bar.
• Please upload ratio proofs to an image host and have links to your profile pages on these trackers.

[SPEEDTEST PROOFS]
• Run a speed test on Speedtest.net on a New York and Frankfurt server.
• Please screenshot the results, do not use the share direct link feature
• Screenshots need to be a full window capture (browser included), with the IP address and the current date and time clearly visible in the address bar.
• Please upload the speedtest proofs to an image host.

Some of the Interview Questions:

- Why do you wish to join MTV?

- What are two of your favorite TV shows?

- What other trackers are you currently a member of?

- What is your current seeding hardware (storage capacity, transfer speed etc)?

- How long and how much do you regularly seed?

- Have you ever been a member of an invite trading site?

- How do you plan on contributing to our community?

- Optional, but can improve your chances of being accepted:
Draw the best cat you can in MSPaint (or equivalent) or other graphics editor and upload it while we review your responses.

Guessing here but I’m thinking about 4am which would be about 6am AEST. Interviews are open for two hours I think

I've noticed the MTV irc for the interviews as gone to invite only, is this normal mate?

I think the interviews are about to open in more than 2 hours from now. So, keep checking.

It's not normal imho.
But it's normal when they wanted to do something in preparation for interviews. Interviews will be done if there is no change!

So basically they just want power users to join their site. Not only that: power users in at least two trackers. A bit excessive in my opinion.

not even tried. not into tv. just commented based on jimmy7's post. way too demanding this interview process. they act like as if it's for a job and your life is at stake.

Personally, I don't think the requirements are too much to ask. They want members who can prove they are able to maintain accounts and ratios.. What is the point of allowing users in who are going to abuse the privilege?
