Yesterday we already explained that attempts are currently being made to break into individual user accounts on JME.

Unfortunately, this concern and the associated inconveniences are not yet over.

We therefore recommend that at least every affected user activate “2-factor authentication” in his/her profile under Security.

How does it work or what does it look like?

From the next time you log in, you will receive a code by email to the email address we have on file as quickly as possible (it may take a moment).
Only by entering this code will you be able to log in completely.

I know this might be a little annoying and it's not a must.

Nevertheless, I would like to recommend that every user who has stored a correct email here on JME use the function.
