ILoveTorrents.com Goes Subscription Based $$

*Hello Everyone.
Back in March & April Ilovetorrents asked its members to step up and help us replace some hardware. I'm pleased to say that the hardware was ordered and came online the first week of May.
With summer already here we were hoping that members of ILT would still support the costs of running such a site each month. Well I'm sad to say that since May we've barley had any donations which after spending the monies on the new servers is the worst thing that could have happened.
Why is it that we always have to come and beg our member's to support the site when the whole reason the site is here is for you; the member.
Ive said time and time again, if members don't help ill be forced to act and that day is here! We own and host our own gear and while this adds a layer of security to our site, it also costs more then just hosting on a dedicated server somewhere.
It's the same group of members who are always helping to keep ILT alive. We cant expect a small group of people to always pay for everyone else. Life doesn't work that way, and neither shall ILT any longer. It's time for everyone else to cough up some donations or the following will happen this Friday June 14, 2012
I am left with a few choices that can not be delayed any further.

Shutdown Ilovetorrents on Monday June 18th.
Auction off roughly 20000 accounts starting at 5 dollars a month. These accounts will come from the classes below VIP and anyone can obtain one, so be sure to obtain your own before someone else does.

a. All accounts that do not renew on time will be locked and suspended under our current suspension protocol. Meaning that until such time a renewal is made the account will be in suspension state and unusable; much like a uncontrolled park state.
b. After 30 days of being suspended without renewal, your account will be auctioned off to new members on a first come first serve basis.
c. All accounts will be free-leech with frozen stats just like the current EliteVip memberships. However, all members will still be expected to do their part in keeping torrents alive and any and all H&R Rules will still apply. Seeding is what keeps material available and members who abuse the free-leech policies will loose their account.
We have until Friday June 14, 2012 5pm to make enough donations to cover our hosting costs from May until September.
This is absolutely the final chance for members to keep ILT the way it is now.
Donate anything you can or come Friday 5pm ilovetorrents.me will will not be the same great place it has been for 7 years!
Its up to you the members where we go from here.
