I'm feeling upset and sad. I'm wondering, what could happen so that the site has been taken down permanently!

I loved HDAccess for their full BD releases, and it was a friendly site above all. It literally used to be the second URL that I typed every time I opened my browser. I wish they came back :(

Without knowing the exact details I'm never going to judge a person from deciding their real life is more important. People who run private trackers get very little benefit for the amount of time and effort they put in. Now the argument is that they should've known what they were getting themselves into, which is true, but it's also very hard to predict changes in your life two or three years down the track.Quote:

Another good tracker closed down...but, then again, hdwing, chdbits were also closed, and these were better than HDAccess. There will always be alternatives, it just takes time and patience to find them opened for signups.

I agree with you. I think it comes down to the owner's selfishness. He didn't even warn anyone. I'm sure other people could have taken over, but he felt like his "baby" shouldn't go on without him. I might be wrong, but considering his last little scheme of leaving and coming back, I'm leaning that way.Quote:
