Hackers announced they broke into the latest version of Denuvo

Version of Denuvo protection 4.8 is used in many PC-games in 2017.

A group of hackers announced that they managed to crack the latest version of Denuvo antipiracy protection 4.8. The pirates also posted on torrent first cracked game to Steam, which uses this version of protection.

Version of Denuvo protection 4.8 is used in many PC games for the year 2017, among which are Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Need for Speed: Payback, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Football Manager 2018, Injustice 2, Star Ocean: The Last Hope. It is noted that the Denuvo protection 4.8 non-jailbroken lasted almost three months. In addition, hackers have so far not been able to defeat a bunch of this protection with VMProtect, which is used in Assassin’s Creed: Origins.

Anti-piracy protection in Assassin’s Creed: Origins has particularly disappointed many gamers, including owners of licensed version of project from Ubisoft. Many even begged the developers to remove the Denuvo protection that reduces game performance.
